Inside: ZaZa in Scarsdale
ZaZa, a restaurant named for a popular song in Italy, opened a few months ago in the spot where Rustico was on Central Avenue in Scarsdale.
“Rustico was here for 17 years and we thought it was a good time to give it a face lift,” says owner Nello Tizzano. “We changed the concept and we have something fresh and new.”
One fresh and new thing is the wood-fired pizza oven. Others are the French doors, which open onto the sidewalk, a fresh coat of red paint and red granite bar and pizza counter.
Here is a look inside of the Scarsdale eatery.
