Inside: Superfood Citizen Cafe in Beacon
The bright colors of the Superfood Citizen Cafe on Main Street in Beacon are enticing. People walk in just out of curiosity, without an inkling that they've walked into a raw food cafe and juice bar.
Owner Sai Corson opened the cafe with the help of her staff in April 2010. Her original plan was to find a space to make raw chocolates, and instead she created an entire cafe.
She does sell her chocolates in the Cafe, but she also sells entrees like enchiladas, desserts, snacks, fresh juices and smoothies, and high-alkaline water.
