Inside: Little b's in Tarrytown
As residents of Tarrytown may have noticed, Jack and Dyl's restaurant has closed its doors. But, the restaurant's owner is still around. Dave Thomas has reinvented 49 Main Street into the go-to place for a casual meal and late night eats in town.
He describes the change from the white-table-clothed contemporary American restaurant to laid back wing and burger joint as, "filling a niche."
There is also no other place in town that is open late and serves food, which means a town full of people and the crowds from the Music Hall have few options. So, Thomas took the plunge, focusing on wings, small bites and a build-your-own burger menu at Little B's.
The bar can mix a mean cocktail and the draft lines are all New York breweries, including two local favorites, Captain Lawrence and Defiant.
