Inside: Hog Heaven BBQ in Sloatsburg

Bart Gaber's love affair with barbecue started he was just a kid, back when he was smoking meat with his dad.

As an adult, the interest in the perfect dry rub and tender ribs turned from hobby to tradition. During football season in the Hudson Valley, Gaber and his buddies would load up trucks full of smokers, wood and meat and set up in the West Point parking lot, taking tailgating to an extreme.

Now Gaber has made his lifelong interest into a business, with Hog Heaven BBQ on Route 17 in Sloatsburg. Now, the public can get a taste of what Gaber's friends and family have been raving about for years.
