Inside: Emma's Ale House in White Plains
Emma's Ale House is a restaurant with a more adult atmosphere, but that doesn't mean it isn't fun.
Casey Egan, a former partner of the Black Bear Saloon, has graduated and moved down the street with his very own place.
Egan named the restaurant after his yellow lab, Emma, who he says is, “The only blonde in my life who is always excited to see me."
The menu is American comfort food (think short ribs and pot pie) and customers sit down to soft pretzels at every table. There are 10 draft lines, with seasonal changes, and a full bar for cocktails.
