This new restaurant is a local branch of a chain founded by Anthony Bruno in Fort Lauderdale in 2002. It now has 24 restaurants throughout Florida, Delaware and Pennsylvania, and pro football Hall of Fame quarterback Dan Marino is a partner. Pizzas are cooked at 800 degrees in an anthracite-burning oven. The menu also includes salads and coal-oven sandwiches, and "Italian Soul Food," which are family-style entrees such as pork ribs with vinegar peppers and broccoli rabe and sausage. Especially popular: the coal-fired wings.
