Poor Management

My wife and I ate there Saturday evening, 6/27/09. I had a veal special with rice that was OK. My wife had a chicken special with asparagus and pasta. The chicken was dry and tough. It seemed like it had been sitting for a long time. It probably was as we were there at 7pm on a beautiful Saturday nite and there was only one other couple in the restaurant.

Our real complaint is that we bought in a coupon received in the mail that offered $5 off of a check of $35 or more. Our bill was approximately $50 for the two of us. However, they refused to honor the coupon saying it was valid on take out orders only. It did not say that anywhere in the coupon. We sent to waitress back twice to ask the manager and she came back with a “no” twice. We asked to see the manager but he would not come out even though there was only 2 other people in the restaurant. Mahybe he doubles as the chef and was preparing take out orders. $5 is obviously not that much money; however, on principle, we will never go back.
