Inside: Nanuet Restaurant

Autographed straw hats and a portrait of Frank De Lucia, the original owner, hang behind the bar at the Nanuet Restaurant. The hats were used during live singing competitions. De Lucia would accompany patrons with his accordion, and regulars customized their own hats, which the staff hung behind the bar until the next week. The sing-alongs stopped when De Lucia passed away in 2000.
