Individual Pumpkin Pie, Patisserie Didier Dumas
Credit:Maureen Fleming
Up the street from the hustle and bustle of Main Street in Nyack, Patisserie Didier Dumas is easy to miss, a quiet secret just a few steps away from Riverspace. This small shop serves crepes and coffee, as well as a selection of cookies and pastries, all made on site.
Pastry chef Didier Dumas opened his patisserie with the thought that it would be "a place to come and forget your problems for a little bit." The shop combines good food with an extremely laid-back atmosphere. The prices are reasonable and the shop is open late to boot. It's the perfect place to be on a fall night with a few friends, drinking coffee and noshing on an individual pumpkin pie. Stay as late as 11 p.m., if it's a Friday or Saturday.
