Café of Love

At Mount Kisco's Café of Love, northern Westchester notables such as Andrew Cuomo and Kerry Kennedy drop by to be coddled by owner Leslie Lampert's hospitality, not to mention the lovely surroundings and a menu that includes seared Hudson Valley foie gras (with toasted peanuts) tuna tartare and roasted quail. But you can grab a seat at the bar and order a bowl of the amazing spiced pumpkin soup ($9), which comes dusted with amaretto cookie dust, and a cold Stella Artois ($6), then indulge in Lampert's appetizer table — stocked with gratis bowls of white bean dip, nuts, olives and their incredible olive bread. You'll even have enough left over for a tip.
