Buffet de la Gare

Chef-owner Annie Goulet says diners can get the most out of their $20 at Buffet de la Gare in Hastings-on-Hudson by coming for lunch (Thursdays and Fridays only), when all entrees are under $20. At dinner time, you can stick to appetizers if you sit at the bar. Try the duo de soupes (two soups served side by side; specials include wild mushroom and baby watercress, $9) and either the frisee salad with lardons ($11), warm poached leeks and artichokes in an herb vinaigrette ($10) or the duck and pork rillettes ($10).
