If bars went to high school, Southside would be voted most likely to succeed. Where to start  There's more than a dozen plasma and LCD TVs, free buffet munchies at Friday's Happy Hour, DJs spinning on weekends, dart competitions, Nintendo Wii nights, beer pong tourneys and – of course - lively football Sundays, come late August. Wing and pitcher specials are obligatory, but Southside has shrimp cocktail deals too. It's not just a lively nightspot, though. Classic Italian and American dishes with homemade dressings come quick from the kitchen at both lunch and dinner. Suggestions include the Southside Famous Penne Ala Vodka.
