Owner Rick Pellegrino said he "wants to make pizza sexy again." To that end, Pellegrino, the former owner of Babbo Pizza in Piermont, created a bistro with wood floors, dark-stained paneling, tin ceiling, old globe lights and tables made from 200-year-old reclaimed ship lumber, reclaimed from Petersen's Boat Yard in Nyack. Besides the sexy pizza – like the Nona Pelligrino's Marinara Pie, named for his grandmother – he's serving shrimp and asparagus risotto, steak Rafael (which has prosciutto mushrooms in a marsala sauce) and Chicken Alesandria (grilled with cold arugula and radicchio salad).
