After interior renovations, the space formerly known as Strega looks fresh and modern, with lots of dark wood, glass, and pretty colors. The original copper-topped bar is still here and so is the romantic back room, where French doors open to the street. The food is American-Italian and leans toward seafood and fish, especially the appetizers, (don't miss the grilled fresh sardines) but look for nice pizzas, a variety of risottos, and a terrific zuppe di pesce, which comes with a small lobster tail. For dessert, there are the usual Italian classics ó tiramisu, tartufo and cannoli. There is no standard children's menu, but they will gladly make a smaller portion of most items on the menu for them.
