With a multi-room interior that’s as exotic as it is colorful, Yobo welcomes diners to its Rainfall Lounge, adorned with wooden masks. Its bar is dotted with rectangular lanterns and showcases one wall studded with all kinds of beer bottlecaps. With a crispy coating and viscous molasses-like sauce, the Chinese sesame chicken has a center that’s tender and juicy. Yobo’s extensive menu also includes Japanese tempura, sushi and barbecue. Exotic drinks are plentiful. In addition to sweet plum wine, try the Japanese, Thai and Chinese beers or the “Asian Persuasion,” made with blue Curacao, vodka, pineapple juice and sour mix.
