Smokehouse Chili-Grill

In 2006, Justin Zeytoonian and Michael Hofer took their special chili to a tailgate party in Buffalo, and 250 friends showed up at their tent. By 2007, they opened a restaurant. A long lunch counter inside and a half dozen umbrella tables out front make it a perfect setting for a chili dawg or a signature burger marinated in Irish whiskey-spiked barbecue sauce. If you finish the Big Bad Ass burger in 20 minutes (by yourself), you can sign the wall next to the cash register.

Zeytoonian said they have dedicated their efforts to making things as fresh as possible, wincing at anything that would have to be microwaved or frozen. The menu transitioned from a late-night munchie-type menu that consisted mainly of burgers and wraps and chili cheese everything, to a menu that offers new and unique ideas like Red Pepper Slaw, Buffalo Chicken Dip, Country Fried Chicken and Blue Point Lager battered Fish & Chips.
