Ensconced in an old carriage house in the Hamlet of Salt Point (about 11 miles northeast of Poughkeepsie) is Fireside BBQ & Grill, one of the few places around that offers Western-style barbecue. After a trip to California, chef/owner Paul Iannucci acquired a taste for meats grilled over live mesquite and launched Fireside a few years ago to share his enthusiasm with fellow New Yorkers.
