John Jay High School grad Scott Vaccaro opened one of the Hudson Valley's leading microbreweries, Captain Lawrence Brewing Company, in 2006. Free tours and discounted refills greet visitors who swing by the brewery on Fridays and Saturdays, when the facility opens to a thirsty public.
