Flashed: Clearwater Festival 2010
The Clearwater Festival took place this past weekend at Croton Point Park. Metromix flashed pics during the two-day festival.
Day one of the festival started off on a high note when Clearwater founder, activist and music legend Pete Seeger performed at the Rainbow Stage early in the day, setting the standard for the rest of the festival. Saturday's line up included performances by Steve Earl, Buckwheat Zydeco, Keller Williams, Toshi Reagon, Tao Seeger, Mike Doughty, the Felice Brothers and more.
On day two, David Bromberg, Joan Osborne, Shawn Colvin, Jonatha Brook, Dan Bern, Donna the Buffalo and the Subdudes were among the performers of the day. At the conclusion of the day, the crowd was met with a terrific surprise: an unscheduled closing ceremony down at the river's edge, with a sing-a-long led by Pete Seeger.
