All Access: Paramount Center for the Arts
There are a bunch of cool things that emerged in 1930. The first cartoon with sound and color. Clint Eastwood. And the Paramount Center for the Arts.
Opening in 1930 as the Peekskill Paramount Theatre, it was a state-of-the-art movie house, even showing those newfangled "talkies" everyone was buzzing about back in the day. Since then, a stage has been added and the theater has become a nonprofit arts center.
