If you like sports bars than this is the place to go. A Wii system on a 100-inch projection screen is plenty of fun, even if your team doesn't win. Bring your friends on Monday for 25-cent wings and $8 pitchers, and bring your game for Saturday night's beer pong. Go Sunday for 2-for-1 wings and $9 pitchers to soothe the pong loss from the night before.

The fare is upscale pub grub, running the gamut from burgers and fish and chips to salmon fillets, surf and turf, and pasta dishes. An upscale bar and restaurant, this roomy hotspot features a full bar in the middle of the floor and tables along the walls. Rock and pop music from a digital jukebox deejays on Thursday and Friday nights and bands on Saturday nights. Like many Irish pubs, Mickey Spillane's serves corned beef and cabbage, chicken pot pies and burgers. Happy hour is from 4 to 7 p.m. nightly.
Spectator's Sports Pub
219 North Ave. - New RochelleSpectator's Sports Pub is the hub to be on game days, when this bar is packed with old and young fans alike cheering for their favorite teams while watching the game on a big-screen TV. When the game's not on, partygoers flock to Spectator's for late-night dancing, ever-changing drink specials and bar food that always scores.

Where to start√‚‚ There's more than a dozen plasma and LCD TVs, free buffet munchies at Friday's Happy Hour, DJs spinning on weekends, dart competitions, Nintendo Wii nights, beer pong tourneys and √‚‚ of course - lively football Sundays, come late August. Wing and pitcher specials are obligatory, but Southside has shrimp cocktail deals too. It's not just a lively nightspot, though. Classic Italian and American dishes with homemade dressings come quick from the kitchen at both lunch and dinner. Suggestions include the Southside Famous Penne Ala Vodka.

947 McLean Ave. - YonkersA classic Irish neighborhood pub, this tavern's rich, wood interior offers lots of lounge and bar space for its crowds of fans who come by Monday evenings to partake in pool tournaments for their favorite soccer teams.
T-Bone's Sports Pub
56 N. Route 303 - Valley CottageThis is a sports bar with a nice set-up out front with benches and tables. Everything inside is geared toward watching sports - with a Direct TV package - playing pool and having a friendly, boozy time. Yet with all its amenities, it doesn't field much more than a local crowd. This place is a hidden gem.

173 Main St. - NyackThis is a sports bar, and although the menu says "restaurant," it's more about burgers and wraps. But people do love the apps, so enjoy solid and cheap pub grub while well-paid athletes do their thing on the flat-screen.
Fiddler's Green
1870 Route 6 - CarmelIf you're looking for a place to watch soccer, Fiddler's is where the crowds go in Carmel. With eight TVs showing Premiership, Champions League, and other European league matches, the pub offers a full pub menu and eight draft beers. Fiddlers also serves an authentic Irish breakfast bright and early on gamedays and the bar is usually full by the opening whistle.

44 Westchester Ave. - Port ChesterSports fans, this is your house of worship. 44 TVs. 24 draft beers. Wings with 14 signature sauces. Dollar drafts on Friday nights. Buffalo Wild Wings advertises a stadium atmosphere indoors,but watching a game here may be even better than being at the ballpark. The beers are cheaper and the lines for the bathroom aren't as long. You can even play trivia or Texas Hold 'Em against your neighbors. There may be no better place to spend a Sunday afternoon during football season.

Just because it is a saloon, don't expect a small dive bar in the heart of Middletown. This bar is more than 3,000 square feet and has a dance floor big enough to avoid bumping elbows while you rock out to some of the Northeast's best cover bands. The bar which is surrounded by plasma TVs and has enough seating so that you won't be stuck standing or trying to poke your way in to order a drink. Happy Hump Day Happy Hour offers $4 Jager Bombs and $2 Soco-and-lime shots.

With a DJ in the house Thursday through Saturday and seasonal events like beer pong and karaoke there is no shortage of entertainment. Dust off your jerseys for Monday Night Football; games play on eight big screens.

30 W. Ramapo Road - GarnervilleAbout 100 can pack this sports bar and restaurant, and they often do when live weekly entertainment takes the stage Thursday through Saturday. In addition to claiming to have the longest happy hour in Rockland from 4 to 7 p.m. the Publik House also brags about its burgers and wings.

But add an impressively decorated dining room and an interesting menu, and there's more than enough reason to return after the games are through. TF Noonan's in Pearl River is a great venue. 16 TVS indoor and outdoor(with bar) seating Great food, and great Football Specials on Sat and Sunday....

Don't forgot the Finnegan's Grill in Thornwood. It's got at least 15 Plasma TV's and a large projector screen.
