"I thought they were nuts, honestly. They wanted me to turn my head completely over my shoulder, losing all sight of what was in front of me? Um, no thanks, I like my nose where it is on my face." Hopefully, they taught you what COUNTER STEERING is. It's the only way that bike will turn fast when you are going 60mph
