Inside: Orange County Choppers Headquarters
Paul Teutul Sr. and his sons, Paulie and Mikey, of Orange County Choppers are not just the guys who made the motorcycle shop that spawned the popular television show "American Chopper." They helped put Orange County on the map.
The Newburgh business just celebrated their 10th anniversary in 2009 and are now in a $13 million, 92,800 square-foot “green” headquarters at 14 Crossroads Court at the intersection of Route 17K and Route 300. The new building allows the OCC crew to assemble custom choppers, film "American Chopper," and house corporate offices, an employee fitness center and 32,000 square feet of retail space. Fans can also get a behind-the-scenes look at the filming of "American Chopper" and the guys building bikes through a one-way mirror that overlooks the shop.
Metromix Hudson Valley got an exclusive all-access tour of the new OCC headquarters that'll be sure to get your motor runnin'.
