Peniche, a Westchester hot spot for tapas and wine, has opened a lounge on the lower level. Open on the weekends, the DJs spin and sangria is poured. Candlelit with a selection of quality wine, it's a more upscale experience than most places in the region, yet the atmosphere is laid back. Only open a few months, the lounge has become extremely popular, as customers who come for dinner end up staying until last call. And this is just the beginning: there are plans to remodel and add events in the near future.
