The Cove always was the best dive bar in Middletown and in a good way. It's small and cozy, but that doesn't mean it won't be packed on the weekend. Bartenders will remember your drink and will dare you to try Jorge's Tornado or Kelly's Mean Mix. Free food during Friday's Happy Hour doesn't hurt either. And yes, it's really a clam bar. Jorge swears they are the best and is also known to make a mean burrito and to-die-for chili.
