All right, then. Wish granted. Let's take a moment to introduce you (or perhaps reacquaint you) with David.
Who are you and where are you from?
My name is David D'Amico, I graduated from UMass Amherst, class of '08. I grew up in New Rochelle and I live in White Plains now.
What made you want to become a Metromix Street Teamer?
They found me when I was wearing a ridiculous lady cop outfit on Halloween. It is a fun and easy job because you get to go out and party and get paid for it.
What has been your favorite Metromix event so far and why?
The Brazen Fox's Blue Carpet Halloween event was my favorite because Halloween is the greatest holiday in the world. Girls are all half naked and they will actually talk to you because you are dressed ridiculous. Why can't everyday be Halloween?!
What are some of your favorite things?
Eating, Grey Goose and soda, money, fresh sneakers, loud music, Cooler Ranch Doritos, dance parties, old-school music, sarging, the classic Yankee fitted (cap), funny people, hot girls, getting tagged in a picture on Facebook, the gym, Giants, Yankees, paesans, crushed red pepper, cupcakes, brunettes, Heineken Light, reading, Halloween, NYC, Greek salads, Vegas, sopresatta, Atlantic City, spring break, dancing, swim-up bars, Sour Patch Kids, "Superbad," my family, summer, Halal on 53rd and Sixth, yellow cars ... Jones Beach, bartending, prosciutto, Italy, and the list goes on.
What about your biggest pet peeves?
People who are unreliable, rubbernecking on the highway (and) hot girls with ugly guys.
What is one thing people would be surprised to know about you?
I didn't miss any days of high school.
How many nights a week do you go out?
At UMass i went out six days a week and I thought that when I graduated it would turn into two nights a week, but that is clearly not the case, because I still go out six nights a week here. I usually take Monday night off unless there is a Monday Night Football game on. C'mon, people, you can't forget about Sunday Funday.
What are some of your favorite spots to party in the Hudson Valley?
Brazen Fox, Elements, 42 at the Ritz, Globe, Porterhouse, Black Bear (in White Plains), Tequila Sunrise in the summer, Soma.
What is your drink of choice?
If I'm planning on getting wrecked, I go for a double Grey Goose and soda. If i want to take it easy and actually remember my night and be able to talk to a few girls, I go for the Heineken Lights. Favorite shot is definitely Jameson.
What's your personal secret to cure a hangover?
Three things: One, a beer; two, sex; three, sleep.
Relationship status?
Very single.
What your idea of a perfect girl is:
Has to be funny — no boring girls around here. Has to work out and be fit — back dimples, six-pack, etc. Love handles don't do it for me. She definitely has to be smart. Has to be cute, obviously. "T" and "A" are definitely a plus. Has to be brunette.
